At The Home Ventilation Centre we offer a range of different services to improve air quality and cure condensation and mould.
Constant trickle extract fans
Constant extraction from the moisture producing areas i.e. bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms. The extractor fans we recommend run on constant trickle speed using less than 1 watt of power with a moisture tracker device (gradual increase in speed on detection of moisture) with boost via pull cord or light in internal bathroom.
Positive Input Ventilation
Positive input ventilation units, which bring dry, clean filtered air into the property to dilute moisture. These units can be installed in houses and even in flats without loft space. In houses they are typically installed within the loft space and in flats they are typically installed on an external wall (depending if the property has a loft or not).
Whole house heat recovery units
Full home heat recovery units - this entails a unit mounted in the loft or cupboard (if the dwelling is a flat). Most new build properties have these units but fitting in an existing property will require major work to allow for ducting runs, often undertaken as part of a major refurbishment.
Mould treatment
We have had a 100% success rate with our new mould cleaning and painting service. We use a domestic mould cleaning product, suitable for use in homes, combined with an anti-mould paint which uses glass ball technology.
Servicing and Recommissioning
Servicing and recommissioning ventilation units is a large area of our work. We typically service the ventilation equipment that we have previously installed but we can also offer a service to customers that have not had their units installed by us.
